Set a time to sleep tonight that will give you 8 hours of sleep, then schedule it 15 minutes earlier every night afterwards until you wake up feeling refreshed to have a permanent sleep schedule.

Remember your electronic detox: Put away all your electronics at least an hour before bed. Checking your email, texts or notifications can cause excitement and anxiety when you should be completely relaxed. The blue light emitting from your devices also slow the production of your sleep hormone melatonin, keeping you awake longer.

Set the mood: Create a bedtime routine that inspires you to de-stress and give your body the signal to start preparing for shut-eye. Use dim lighting, move slowly as you include relaxing activities such as warm bath, meditation, and stretching to ease your mind and muscles.

Sleep naked: Not only is this a great way to keep your skin healthy as you allow it to breathe, it allow regulates your body temperature. As an added bonus, as you keep the temperature around 65 degrees Fahrenheit you’ll burn some calories as your body works to keep you warm.
